O Christmas Tree. O Christmas Tree....

'O Christmas Tree, O Christmas tree,
How lovely are your branches!
In beauty green will always grow
Through summer sun and winter snow.
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
How lovely are your branches!'

As I mentioned in an earlier post every year my town has a Christmas Tree Festival full of beautifully hand decorated twinkly trees! This year there was over 40 trees, the most they've ever had and they raise money to be split between charities! You also get to vote for you're favourite two trees, one from the adults and one from the children! They get more creative every year, this year they ranged from, The Wizard of Oz, to Under the Sea, and Space!! It also started snowing last week and on Saturday morning I woke to find it had finally snowed properly and everywhere was covered, although we've had so much today that this seems like nothing!

This one is the view from my mum's work office.

And here are some pictures of my favourite trees, they're actually in a dark room so all the lights are twinkling away.....

The Adults

The Children's

And these were the two I voted for

Stacey's Smiles :)

Each week I decided I'm going to post some things that are making me smile or I'm just loving!

One reason to smile this week is it's Pay Day tomorrow!!! That's always a good reason to smile in my book, and it seems to have come round super quick this month, the weeks are just flying by!

And even better I just have 10 hours to work tomorrow and then no work for me until Dec 14th, so that means time to go and spend some of my wages!!!

The Christmas lights are also being turned on in my town tomorrow night, and they have a Christmas Tree festival every year where local schools and companies decorate trees, so I will be going to see those over the weekend! I love how creative they all are!

I'm currently loving this MinkPink Little Bit Spesh Dress, I think I might just have to make a new purchase

MinkPink Dress @ Shopbop
And I'm also loving this sweater from Lauren Conrad's Kohls Line

LC Sweater @ Kohls

And finally it started snowing here today!!! I love waking up and seeing everywhere covered in snow, unfortunately the snow is settling yet but hopefully we'll get some more soon!!

Outfit Of The Day: Snow Leopard

And here is today's look, and in the last few minutes the rain has stopped!!! However I won't get too excited as I'm sure it'll start again in no time. So as I got up early for the H&M Lanvin collection (what a waste of time that was) and I didn't have to work today I ended up watching another Christmas film first thing this morning! Yes another, I may have just started watching them a couple of weeks ago, but it's only 32 days to go now and Christmas is my favourite time of the year. I <3 watching Christmas films! Elf is one of my favourites and was the first one I watched, and I'm sure I'll be watching them all over again before December 25th!

Primark Cardigan, Mark Necklace, A&F Trousers,
 Dorothy Perkins Boots

It would appear that wearing my boots made me too tall for where I've discovered I can balance my camera, whoops...

Some of my Christmas Films....

And I got these out ready for next month

32 Days and counting....

Outfit Of The Day: Green With Envy

So this is actually my look from yesterday but I'm a bit late in posting it! It's been raining here solidly for the past few days and even today is no different, so right now I'm envious of anyone who has dry weather! Oh and also anyone who managed to snag one of those gorgeous purple one shoulder dresses from the H&M Lanvin collaboration! I got up to shop online at 7am when they opened the online store this morning, as I'm no where near any stores that are stocking the collection! Surprise, surprise the online store was down and by the time I got in at 7.25am the purple dress had sold out, BOOO :( Oh well I guess at least I saved some money! Was anyone out there lucky enough to get some pieces from this collection?

I had to throw a black Forever 21 cardigan over this outfit to keep me warm!

Myne Top, Primark Skirt, Chinese Laundry
Turbo Boots, Me&Ro Necklace

For now I shall just have to keeping dreaming of this dress <3

Bear Hugs: Children In Need

I'm currently sat at home watching Children In Need with my Pudsey cupcakes.

And I've been rocking these cute little pin badges on my jacket all week too (sorry for the awful pics, they're from my iPhone)

I love watching it every year, and it always brings me to tears when you hear the stories from some of the children. They raise an absolutely amazing amount of money to help children all over the UK every year! My favourite bits of the show so far were the Strictly Come Dancing Special, and being the F1 fan that I am, I loved seeing Lewis & Jensen go-carting with the children!! Now I just wish I'd got a pair of those awesome Pudsey ears!!

I hope you all make donations too! You can click here to donate or on the banner below :)

Recent Purchases and Reviews

So last month I posted here about wanting this Topshop sweater and when I went to the store they didn't have my size! I decided to order it online along with the other sweater I tried on whilst shopping last week here. Click on any of the stock pictures below to purchase!

This sweater is super soft and cozy and I love the shade of rose pink, it's not too girly pink! It runs really big though, I'm wearing the UK6/US2 and it's still a bit big, but I do love that I can pull it off the shoulder and I might even belt it for a different look.

I decided to get the cute deer sweater as well! This sweater is more of a browny pink and the black lace collar detail is darling, I also love the keyhole detail at the back! Again I'm wearing a UK6/US2

This next blouse arrived today and is from Dorothy Perkins, it has a cute bird print all over but I'm not sure if I'm gonna keep it yet! I love the print and the neck tie detail but I'm not crazy about the fit.

I also picked up these feather earrings from Tiger Lily! After getting the necklace last week I decided that i needed these too. Click here to purchase.
